FOCUS : SCREEN GRAPHICS / MOTION GRAPHICS PACKAGE

ROLE : CONCEPT DESIGN & ANIMATION

CLIENT : THE KENNEDY CENTER

RELEASED : FALL 2018

Hosted by the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., the Mark Twain Prize is an annual award that recognizes individuals who have had an impact on American society, in ways similar to the distinguished 19th century novelist, Mark Twain. This year’s event was held at the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts and honoured renowned actor and comedian, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, with a star-studded lineup of celebrities like Stephen Colbert, Jerry Seinfeld, David Letterman, Tina Fey, Lisa Kudrow, Tony Hale and more. We worked with Digital Flodur to design the graphics package and screens graphics, introducing lush jewel-tone gradients and mid-century inspired architecture to create a sleek and modern palette. We designed the opening title sequence, 4 screens looks, lower thirds and even a custom designed official logo for the Mark Twain Prize, featuring the iconic comedic device - the banana peel.
